Inexpensive Valentines crafts!

This bouquet of a dozen roses is much cheaper than the ones you find at the store! Featured on the local radio station 102.7fm K.O.R.D! (They say the tutorial will be on www.townsquaremedia.com) All you need is misc. scrap fabric...and old T-shirt will do, Fabric Tac, hot glue gun, and a needle and thread.  I went outside and found twigs to use for the stems and a vase I had around the house. Flower #1: (Turqoise) A simple explanation...is to cut out a 2 inch diameter circle to glue strip on. Take a 2 inch wide, 24 inch or longer strip of material and tie a knot at the end using not for center and startingpoint.  Next, start twisting and rotating in a circle at the same time while applying Fabric Tac every inch or so onto the fabric circle. Flower #2: (pink polka dot) Fold same strip of fabric in half lengthwise.  Sew a baste stitch along the raw edge down the whole strip. The stitch doesn't need to look pretty...when at the end...sinch materal with the thread. With fabric circle, start on the outer edge wrapping cinched strip.  You may want to tie a knot with the thread to keep the cinch in place. This will be the most inexpensive bouquet of flowers you will ever give to someone...with little time and effort!
