Frenzie fun skirt!

I always start by saying this is so easy!!...but I rarely tackle a project that takes longer than half an hour. For this one....you need 1-2 yards depending on how much gather you want around the waist. With mine I used 1 yard. I sewed the seam connecting the sides. Next serge the top and bottom. The top you will fold down to insert the elastic. When you sew the space for the elastic...makes sure and leave a little space to insert the elastic before sewing it completely shut. You will need to sew the elastic together when you have the desired tightening of the waste with the elastic you will want. Next, make your flowers...this is done by cutting a circle out of felt and taking a strip of fabric and tieing it in a knot and while wraping in a circle, twist the fabric strip at the same time and gluing to to the felt. Fabric tac is a fast and easy way to bond the fabric, although I also like to sew it together after. (Fabric tac takes only seconds to bond). Sew flowers in desired place and you have added a cute and fun skirt to your wardrobe!
